Kristina & Adam | The Compasses

Putting this warm, sunny spring wedding blog post together in a chilly early December helps remind me we do sometimes have nice weather! I really thought I’d already blogged Kristina and Adam’s boho-inspired wedding from May 2019, but it turns out I hadn’t, so here you go!

Their wedding is a great example of fab floristry and personal touches, from Kristina’s flower crown through to the table decorations and finally the doggo cake topper. Kristina and Adam’s pooch wasn’t in attendance on their big day, but she was celebrated!

I spent the morning with Kristina and her bridal party as they got ready in the bridal suite at The Compasses, before Adam and the gents joined a little later just before the ceremony. The weather had been kind and it was a warm and sunny one, but it wasn’t going to stop the bride from showing off her personalised leather jacket later in the day, which looked super cool! Kristina and Adam’s wedding was rounded off by the usual dancefloor antics alongside a pizza van, serving up delicious slices of pizza to drunk ravenous guests.

Here’s what the bride and groom said:

“Sally was recommended by our venue, the Compasses and we’re so happy she was! Before the wedding we had our initial meeting where she came round our house and then we had our pre-wedding shoot. As soon as we met her we knew we wanted her to capture our big day. She’s such a friendly person and her relaxed style really suited us. Sally really knows how to coordinate people in getting some great shots, without it feeling forced or staged. She definitely gets the right balance between traditional family and couple shots without taking us away from our guests for long. We had the best day and we’re so excited to get our pictures back so we can relive it. Can’t recommend Sally enough, huge thanks!“
